Testimonials
Excellent initial assessment appointment. Lovely physio Daniel was very thorough while making the experience comfortable and informative. Treatment provided some immediate ease to shoulder pain and take-away exercises were well explained. Thank you.
Harry was brilliant, friendly and welcoming whilst also being very efficient. He effectively relieved my legs of pain after running my first marathon. One of the best sports massages I've received, would highly recommend!
I have had a great experience with Regen Physio, most recently with Jack. He was attentive in diagnosis and problem shooting throughout my treatment, as well as adapting the exercise plan to what my long term activity goals are. Thank you!
Had been struggling with wrist, elbow and shoulder pain for months, just a few sessions with Harry and it was sorted and back to full strength. Can't recommend them highly enough
Many thanks for getting me back to normal movement. As my back recovered I went from standing like the tower of Pisa to walking upright again. My exercises we developed will hopefully prevent it happening again. Thanks!
Went to Daniel today after getting a knot in my back. Sorted the issue almost straight away. Feel so much better already. Definitely would recommend
I use Regen Physio regularly for physio therapy and sorts massage.
I can’t recommend them enough, their knowledge is second to non and they always diagnose and rectify any issues I have quickly.
The communication between physio and massage therapist is excellent ensuring they work together for all treatments.
Excellent treatment by Victoria Griffin, easily the best physio I have encountered in over 40 years of football related injuries! Very knowledgeable and empathetic. I would recommend without any hesitation.
Fantastic physio. Helped me with back pain/pelvis issues and walking issues during pregnancy. Extremely knowledgeable and provided information for post pregnancy and strengthening muscles to get back to netball after baby is here.
Saw Danny yesterday in relation to back problem. This is the second time I have had to use him for physio services in the last year and as with my first experience I find him to be very professional, knowledgeable and approachable. Am happy to highly recommend Danny to anyone.

I have now been 3 times and each session is tailored around my needs on that day. I would recommend Regen Physio/Charlotte to anyone and can’t wait for my next session."

Jack Gilmartin
Physiotherapist
BSc (Hons), MCSP
Alwoodley, York
My name is Jack Gilmartin, and I’m an MSK physiotherapist at Regen Physio. I work with a broad mix of clients, from competitive athletes and regular gym-goers, to people who simply want to move more comfortably and enjoy an active lifestyle.
Coming from a background in semi-professional rugby and strength & conditioning, I know first-hand the challenges of training, performing, and managing setbacks. That experience shapes the way I work: combining hands-on treatment with practical, tailored rehab plans that are easy to follow and designed to deliver real progress.
I place a big emphasis on education and clarity, making sure clients understand their condition and feel confident in how to manage it. Rehab should feel purposeful and motivating, not a boring checklist – and I always aim to keep it engaging while focused on each person’s goals.
Outside of the clinic, I spend most of my time on the rugby pitch or in the gym, and I enjoy testing myself both physically and mentally. The same drive that fuels my sport carries into my work, where my priority is helping people return to the activities that matter most to them.
What clients say
- Fantastic sports massage and soft-tissue work
- Very knowledgeable and professional
- Removes pain and stiffness quickly
- Friendly and confidence-boosting
Reputation: superb manual therapist with excellent communication skills.
"Jack was fantastic, found straight away where I needed fixing, and also gave good advice."
